Help Pardes Develop Passionate and Creative Jewish Leaders
Your contribution to Pardes allows you to play a key role in building a
Jewish leadership that will ensure the continuity of the Jewish people -
through your support of our unique institution of Jewish learning.
Why is Pardes unique? Pardes is the only center of Jewish learning in
Israel
today where students engage in rigorous Torah study in a completely
nonjudgmental, non-coercive environment of open inquiry and spiritual
searching that allows them to develop their own deep and personal
connection
to the Jewish heritage.
Founded in 1972, Pardes has a 30-year-long track record of producing
caring
Jewish laypeople and professionals with deep Jewish knowledge, a passion
for
Jewish living and openness to all Jews - the kind of Jews who every day
become the cornerstones of enduring Jewish community wherever they go.
You probably know Pardes alumni who are teachers and leaders in your
community. The work of Pardes graduates demonstrates how potent the
Pardes
recipe is for reinvigorating Jewish life from the ground up. And as
someone
who cares about the future of the Jewish people, you know how high the
stakes are - for yourself, for your children, for Jews everywhere.
As a contributor to Pardes, you will help to develop the Jewish people's
most important resources: the minds and hearts of our young leaders.
For over 30 years, Pardes has been supported in part by people like you
who
are concerned about Jewish continuity, Jewish community and the life of
Torah. Your financial support today will ensure - at a time when the
continuity of Jewish life is at risk - that Pardes will continue its
indispensable contribution to the Jewish future.
Pardes has grown greatly in recent years.
500 overseas and local residents participate in Pardes learning programs
in
Jerusalem each year, including over 100 university graduates from the
US,
Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine and the UK.
The Pardes Fellows Program offers a second year of advanced text study
for
students who wish to expand their learning experience.
The graduate Pardes Educators Program provides intensive study and a
Master'
s degree in education for 10 to 15 teachers each year who then return to
North America to staff Jewish schools and educate the next generation.
The Advanced Scholars Learning Seminar offers an in-depth Halakhic studies
program.
Our Summer Programs and Evening Seminars bring many
more
students of all ages and Jewish backgrounds through the Institute's
doors.
Pardes also has an impact on the Israel community with our popular
Continuing Education Program which offers a variety of weekly courses.
The essential mission of Pardes Institute is to create a core of learned
and
committed laypeople and leaders who will insure the continuity of the
Jewish
people. Pardes shines a light of classical text study and a commitment
to
the entirety and indivisibility of the Jewish people. At Pardes,
dedication
to Jewish life, and the Jewish future mark the first priority of faculty
and
students.
But the success of the Pardes Institute and its mission depends on the
financial support of people like you. You can be a part of this
important
project by supporting Pardes today.
